Responsibilities
• Maintain communication materials, dashboards, and repositories to support transparency and information sharing across stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain artifacts such as briefs, capability charts, milestones, and diagrams. Refine and improve executive level briefs and prepare technical communications for leadership.
• Works with the most senior members of the client organization to ensure that overall program and project direction, strategy and expectations are met
• Possesses an understanding of DIA's CIO mission and the impact of managerial practices
• Perform data collection and interview senior staff
• Facilitates discussions and analysis to inform the decision process
• Offers expertise in the form of knowledge, specialty skills, experience, or creativity
• Provides guidance on almost every aspect of DIA's strategic objectives and goals as they relate to the CIO mission

- Review and provide technical edits of CIO products including instructions, guidance, white papers, briefings, and other materials for dissemination both internal and external to DIA, ensuring adherence to the DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production, 508 Accessibility compliance, and DIA briefing templates
- Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management support, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years
- Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related discipline from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing strategic communication techniques aligned with organizational mission objectives
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, supervise studies and campaigns, and lead cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and deliver data-driven communication products
- Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.
- Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.
- The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.
- Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
- This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
