About This Role
We're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team supporting an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, VA. You'll work on scalable cloud-based platforms that provide real-time analytics and mission visibility, building solutions from frontend dashboards to backend APIs and database architecture. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly impact national security while developing your skills across the full technology stack in an AWS cloud environment.
Compensation
$180,000 - $280,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies
Build responsive frontend interfaces with frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js
Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI) or similar technologies
Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity
Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automated testing practices
Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of professional software development experience
Strong backend development experience with Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages
Proven frontend development skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django)
Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular, React, or Vue.js
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Previous work supporting federal government or Intelligence Community clients
Familiarity with data visualization libraries and tools
