sUAS Drone Integration Specialist / Electronics Technician
OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a sUAS Drone Integration Specialist / Electronics Technician to support our Army customer on Redstone Arsenal.
Job Responsibilities include: The Integration Specialist is responsible for providing technical support of our work on rapid prototyping of sUAS Drone systems in assigned areas, such as research, design, development, testing, assembly, and/or installation process improvement. Positions parts, components, and subassemblies on drone systems. May assist in engineering testing and/or experimental testing. May prepare and generate written and/or oral reports on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school, or extra experience
1+ years of related work experience
Experience as a technician working with assembly, component installation, soldering, Bill of Materials, understanding schematics and drawings, etc.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written/verbal descriptions or from defined plans
Minimal travel for field testing and/or project meetings may be required
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components preferred
Experience with sUAS design, prototyping, and assembly is a plus
Mission Planner, Q Ground Control, PX4 and Arduopilot experience
Familiar with drones and/or Remote Control (R/C) experience
Required Education: Candidates must have two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school or two years of computer training as applicable to the job.
Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
