Description:
You will be the Radio Frequency Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) for the Pike County Operations. Our team is responsible for delivering the highest advanced technology weapons to our Nation's warfighters.

As the Radio Frequency Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) you will be responsible for hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of special and standard RF test equipment to measure and analyze RF data streams.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working on RF-related commercial or military projects.
• Advanced experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with RF Testing on Indoor Compact Ranges or other RF Testing with anechoic chambers.
• Experience with Military Radar Systems, and a demonstrated knowledge of RF antenna theory & RF capabilities of subsystem hardware/software components.
• Production Test Experience with RF antenna & sensor testing/troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of various RF sensors, architectures, and sensor fusion practices.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Developing and implementing production RF test procedures and processes to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, government regulations, and industry standards.
- Performing RF sub-assembly and all-up-round missile testing in a production environment, analyzing results for anomalies, and troubleshooting failures to determine root cause.
- Occasional hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly/disassembly of missile hardware during development and production operations.
