As the world's premier aerospace and defense company, we pride ourselves on quality and mission success. We need talented, passionate, and customer-centric people to be part of our future.

Our facilities team in Orlando has an exciting opportunity for a hard-charging person to join our Facility Space Planning team. In this role you will be the primary interface with our customers for space planning and furniture needs. You must utilize critical thinking skills to meet objectives while driving cost down. • Lead the space planning team, demonstrating ownership of assigned areas and acting as the facilities liaison for lab creation, manufacturing floor design, and new equipment installations.

  • Work with internal customers to develop requirements, scope, and timelines for space requests.

  • Collaborate with customers and project managers to influence layout design for optimal space utilization and construction cost reduction; present designs at review meetings.

  • Create short-range and long-range facilities plans by identifying and developing options that satisfy project objectives while delivering best value.

  • Solicit headcount projections and business plans to forecast occupancy, capital and expense budgets, building utilization, and density for real-property asset management.

  • Gather and analyze data on current conditions and future requirements; work with internal and external organizations to assess impacts on the business operating plan.

  • Develop, plan, and own business initiatives and performance-management activities to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, service delivery, and asset utilization.

  • Lead and coordinate activities for team, factory, program, and functional managers, multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
