Description:You will be the 2nd shift Sustainment Operations Production Lead for the Lockheed Martin Greenville site. This role requires interfacing with multiple functional organizations, area supervisors, and the assembly crew to resolve issues and constraints in the production environment.
2nd shift Sustainment Hangar Operations
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Operations Lead you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating aircraft maintenance, modification and post modification testing while providing status updates on work documents and tasks completed within their area.
The 2nd shift Sustainment Hangar Operations Production Lead will be considered a working lead that will maintain certifications and qualifications to perform maintenance, modification and post modification testing tasks as required to complete tasks on the product, as well as the below listed responsibilities:
• Communicate and support daily and weekly production goals, assess task complexity and skills, assign work, set clear expectations, provide technical guidance, and monitor and adjust performance to meet aircraft maintenance, modification and post modification testing objectives.
• Ensure adherence to production standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost by enforcing practices such as fall protection, crane operations, hazardous materials handling, personal protective equipment (PPE), use, material handling, chemical control, housekeeping, and tool and FOD controls.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills by effectively managing a team, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by maintaining 6S/lean processes.
• Sustainment Hangar Operations Production Lead will actively engage as a hands-on leader, maintaining necessary certifications and qualifications to perform production tasks and related responsibilities. This includes certifications such as aircraft power on and COMSEC, among others.

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 years' of experience relative to aircraft Manufacturing, Maintenance, Modification, Repair or Overhaul with a minimum of 5 years of modification installation experience.
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to provide technical guidance.
Desired Skills:
F-16 Avionics Modification, Installation, Op's Check. C-130J Modification, Installation, Op's check.
Proficient in SOLUMINA.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
