Description:You will be the Crew Chief Technician for the F-35 Field Modification Team which is responsible for delivering aircraft modifications and sustainment support.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Crew Chief Technician you will be responsible for overseeing modification and maintenance activities that keep F-35 aircraft mission-ready.
"Your responsibilities will include:"
- Condition aircraft for modifications and perform removal and installation of hardware, components, and software uploads.
- Isolate faults, troubleshoot, and repair system failures discovered during operational checkouts.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals to ensure accurate work.
- Train and assist teammates across multiple disciplines while coordinating logistics and scheduling.
- Maintain a safe, clean, FOD-free work environment and operate test equipment and material handling tools.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must posses an Interim Clearance to start. with the ability obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. This position regularly requires to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry. Position may also require extended work hours.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have 3 years APG/Crew Chief experience on fighter type aircraft.
- Performs required Airframe and Powerplant General/Technical Aircraft Maintenance (TAMS) (Crew Chief) tasks in support of maintenance technicians in support of tasks identified by the USAF and in technical data issued for the F-35 aircraft.
- Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
Desired Skills:
- 5 years of APG/Crew Chief experience on fighter type aircraft.
- 5th Generation aircraft Low Observable(LO) Coatings Application experience.
- Tool Control programs, HazMat handling and management.
- ALIS or IMIS knowledge.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
