Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr - NC Programmer for the team. Our team is responsible for creating and revising CNC machining programs.
What You Will Be Doing
In this position, the employee will leverage expertise in interpreting and reading engineering design drawings to create and revise CNC machining programs. The role also requires close collaboration with design teams to enhance manufacturability, as well as partnership with production operations to troubleshoot issues and determine optimal manufacturing methods. Additionally, the employee will be responsible for keeping the machine-program configurations up-to-date in the SOF CLSS database within Teamcenter.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-Proficient in NC programming.
-Skilled at reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
-Demonstrated experience in process-improvement initiatives, including the creation of detailed machining instructions.
-Experience in lathe NC programming.
-Capable of developing 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programs.
Desired Skills:
-Programming experience with GibbsCam
-Programming experience with Esprit Edge
-Background working with sheet-metal forming tools and equipment.
-CNC and/or conventional machining experience.
-Comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Principles
-Proven ability to conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective-action plans.
-TeamCenter Engineering experience
-Production Engineering experience
-Production Operations experience
-Experience with Lean Six Sigma practices
-SAP knowledge & experience
-Working knowledge of MS Office Suit
