Position Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Charleston, SC
Clearance: Secret
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support advanced system design, software development, and network solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise and experience supporting mission-critical systems, including Distributed Common Ground-Surface System (DCGS) for the U.S. Marine Corps. The ideal candidate will bring strong certifications, leadership-level experience, and a proven ability to work across complex computing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and network architectures
• Support and enhance Distributed Common Ground-Surface System (DCGS) operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on system architecture and engineering efforts
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across software, hardware, and network domains
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (computer science focus preferred)
• CISSP certification required
• One or more of the following: PSEM, CSDP, Microsoft, RHCP, CCNP, CCDP, VCP, Cloud certifications, CKA, or DCA
• 5 years supporting DCGS (USMC)
• System architecture, software development, and networking
