• Manages standard workstreams and independently applies the competency to adapt deliverables based on task needs, client expectations, or process improvements.

• Coordinates with internal teams and may engage directly with clients or stakeholders.

Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the configuration of military systems and equipment throughout system lifecycle, adhering to design specifications, tracking changes, and maintaining accurate documentation, while adhering to DoD regulations and standards to guarantee operational effectiveness and compliance.
Essential Function:
• Oversees Configuration Management (CM) processes for multiple programs or projects. Designs and establishes CM documentation;
• Authorizes the release of changes;
• Maintains the Configuration Management Library (CML);
• Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements;
• Review all new Engineering Change Proposals created by Configuration Management team members to ensure specific information and required processes are correct and complete before the boarding approval process;
• Assists in scheduling and conducting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), creating agendas and meeting minutes, and monitoring activities through the completion process;
• Develop CM Plans, conduct analysis, and develop CM compliance reports;
• Conduct of Physical Configuration Audits;
• Maintenance of the Risk Management (RM) Plan and process; analyzing RM processes; conducting in-depth analysis and developing measurements to monitor key phases of the RM process;
• Evaluate program artifacts and maintain and update a repository of Risk and Risk Mitigations based on the results from RMB.
• Continually reviews, edits, and creates CM documentation;
• racks SharePoint site, viewing all activities related to ECPs, ensuring documentation is correctly uploaded;
• Provide support to organize, conduct, and manage Risk Management Boards; and
• Ability to directly support developing and modifying systems requirements documentation to meet client needs.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills Abilities:
• Solid understanding of technical and contractual documents;
• Proficiency with MS Excel / MS Word / MS PowerPoint / SharePoint; and
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Required Education, Certificates/Licenses, Related Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; with an advanced degree preferred; and
• 7 years of experience, including experience with technical configuration management; and familiarity with the MCEN preferred.
Physical Job Requirements:
• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
• This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors
Citizenship/Clearance Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
Telework Availability:
• Until further notice, this position will remain in a hybrid telework posture with the potential for weekly meetings on-site at the client’s location
Primary Work Location:
• Contractor Site

• This position has local travel requirements up to 20%
