GTSC seeksa DoD Information Systems Lifecycle Software SystemsnSecurity SME to support our customer in the Alexandria, Virginia area.
Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Schedule: Day Shift - Mon-Fri
Mission : As a DoD Information Systems LifecyclenSoftware Systems Security SME supporting this government program, yournmission focuses on you serving as a technical expert on executive-level projectnteams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. You will work on unusuallyncomplex technical problems and must have hands-on software engineeringnexperience with DoD systems. Your focus will be software security engineering.nYou will develop Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) and present those with systemsnupdates to various workgroups and program management leadership.
YOU MUST BE self-directed, inquisitive, and proactive in andynamic environment of change with technology and national defense needs. Younare expected to identify and to pursue solutions which are highly innovativenand ingenious. You willnwork under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals andnobjectives. Specificnneed-to-do assignments are often self-initiated.

Requirements:
• U.S.n Citizenship
• Activen TS/SCI
• 15n years of demonstrated experience in large scale DoD network, telecommunications,n and information software systems architecture with a bachelorx27s degree.
• Demonstratedn expertise in software security development and engineering with DoDn systems.
Education and Required Qualification
• Bachelorx27sn degree with a technical focus is required and 15 years of demonstratedn experience in large scale network and/or telecommunications and/orn information software systems architecture.
You are responsible for:
• Thinkingn independently and demonstrating exceptional written and oraln communications skills.
• Applyingn advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
• Contributingn to the development of new principles and concepts via development ofn Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) and leading workgroups to further and ton refine CONOPs and system requirements.
• Capablen of determining and pursuing courses of action necessary to obtain desiredn results.
• Developingn advanced technological ideas and guiding their development into a finaln product.
• Demonstratedn expert-level expertise in a particular area of Information Technologyn (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systemsn Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration,n Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communicationsn and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g.,n finance, logistics, and operations research).
