IT Scrum Master, Senior
The Opportunity:
As a Scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical IT projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a seasoned Scrum master like you to create solutions that'll enhance mission requirements.
On our team, you'll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and Excel you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish effective OKR planning, closeouts, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
In this role, you'll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact the SOF community by delivering highly complex IT solutions at enterprise scale.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, and Scrum practices, including OKR mapping, planning, execution, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements gathering
- Experience teaching teams the basic agile framework concepts
- Experience de-conflicting sprint goals and requirements as necessary
- Experience prioritizing, leading, and coordinating tasks across multiple teams and distinct workstreams to accelerate delivery of milestones and feature releases
- Experience with Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with IaaS and PaaS solution development and deployment process
- Experience with cloud product design and feature release planning
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, or rapidly scaling environment
- Experience with containerized technology deployment, policy as code, and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Experience with large scale program delivery
- Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Kanban, Scaled Agile, and Scrum frameworks
- Ability to infer and correlate delivery tasks to larger OKR objectives
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Possession of strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Agile Certifications, such as ICAgile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Program Consultant Certification
