Position Title : Senior Instructor, 705th Training Squadron

Job Description: ACT1 supports the 705th Training Squadron (TRS) at Hurlburt Field, FL, in executing its mission providing operational-level Command and Control training and expertise. This position develops and provides advanced air operations training in the Command and Control Warrior Advanced Course (C2WAC), Wing Operations Center 200-Level Training Exercise (WOCX), Air Expeditionary Wing Command & Control Course (AEWC2C), Intermediate Air Force Forces Leader Course (IALC), Senior Officer Just-in-time Air Component Training (SJAT), and other courses supporting multi-domain planning. Additionally, the position provides support for select portions of Air University's (AU's) Combined Force Air Component Commander (CFACC) Course, Air Mobility Command's (AMC) Director of Mobility Forces (DIRMOBFOR) Course, and other Air Combat Command (ACC) and 505 CCW C2 operational-level and wing-level training events/courses.
Typical audiences are select joint and coalition personnel in the ranks of E-5 through O-5 that will be assigned to Air Force Component Headquarters (AFCHQ) and subordinate Wings to perform critical command and control and joint planning duties.

Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support senior-level courses for lessons related to their specific area of expertise
- Review and update C2WAC, AEWC2C, WOCX, and IALC academic and practical exercise modules to incorporate the most current processes and procedures utilized by air component staff supporting the Commander, Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR), Air Operation Center (AOC) leadership, and C2 force element positions at the Wing
- Provide curriculum instruction and lead practical exercises employing/supporting the Joint Planning Process for Air (JPPA) and the Joint Air Tasking Cycle (JATC).
- Provide expertise at command and control and operational-level exercises around the world
Requirements
- ·Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited university or college
- at least one year of experience within the past 5 years in an AFCHQ commensurate with that of an O-4 to O-6, and, preferably, served as either a Team/Branch Chief or higher
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of Department of Defense military experience. Must have demonstrated the ability to instruct in a military environment; it is preferred to have at least 1 year of platform instruction
- Demonstrated experience and personal expertise in multi-domain operations, joint planning, and the air tasking cycle
- Experience in one or more of the following: AOC strategy division, AOC combat plans division, AOC combat operations division, AOC intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance division, AFFOR staff (A2, A3, or A5), Non-kinetic Operations team
- Experience with operational-level air, or space, or cyber warfare, both generally and in specific functional and/or positional area
- Ability to travel to various locations within and outside the continental United States (CONUS) in performance of the tasks

- Ground Force SME (Air Defense Artillery, Battlefield Coord Detachment, or Joint Air-Ground Integration)
- At least three years of AFCHQ experience, be post-2016 graduate of C2WAC and/or ACSTOPC, have participated in at least two Tier-1 operational-level exercises, been an APG/OPG/OPT lead, graduate of 13O IST or USAFWS (or equivalent WIC), graduate of rank- appropriate military PME, and/or have experience developing formal military courses.
