General Duties:

Aleut is in search of a highly motivated individual to develop, instruct, validate, and maintain distance learning Space Intelligence Operations course material at the 319th Combat Training Squadron, Peterson SFB CO in support of the USSF Officer Training Course Distance Learning (OTC-DL).

Specific duties:
  • Develop, qualify on, and deliver asynchronous distance learning Space Intelligence course materials (lessons, labs, and assessments) aligned with Instructional Systems Design (ISD/ADDIE) principles and applicable DoD intelligence doctrine
  • Maintain distance learning office hours for no more than 10 hours a week
  • Assist students with Distance Learning, Learning Management System (LMS) and remote on-boarding activities
  • Develop and maintain instructional content aligned with intelligence doctrine, including Joint Publication 2-0 (Joint Intelligence) and Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) processes
  • Develop training on intelligence cycle functions, including collection, processing, exploitation, analysis, and dissemination
  • Incorporate Space Intelligence topics, including adversary space capabilities, counterspace threats, satellite systems, and space domain awareness (SDA)
  • Develop courseware on threat assessment methodologies, including all-source analysis, pattern analysis, and adversary course of action (COA) development
  • Support development of scenario-based exercises involving real-world intelligence problems and operational decision-making
  • Interface with internal and external intelligence and space organizations to ensure course material reflects current threats, doctrine, and best practices
  • Coordinate instructional activities with Contract Task Lead and government personnel
  • Support periodic in-residence or hybrid instruction as required
  • Develop assessments to measure student proficiency against learning objectives
  • Ensure course materials comply with classification guidance, intelligence oversight, and operational security requirements
  • Assist in LMS course setup, content delivery, and student performance tracking
  • Participate in course reviews, validation events, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Work on-site - minimal telework authorized

Required Skills:
  • Broad, instructor-level understanding of intelligence operations as defined in Joint Publication 2-0 (Joint Intelligence)
  • Proficiency in Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE), including battlespace characterization, threat evaluation, and course of action development
  • Experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis, including fusion of SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, and HUMINT (as applicable)
  • Understanding of Space Intelligence, including adversary space capabilities, satellite systems, counterspace weapons, and space domain awareness (SDA)
  • Ability to conduct and teach threat assessments, including adversary intent, capability analysis, and risk evaluation
  • Familiarity with intelligence analytic methodologies, including structured analytic techniques (SATs), hypothesis testing, and bias mitigation
  • Understanding of intelligence reporting formats and standards (e.g., intelligence summaries, threat briefings, operational assessments)
  • Knowledge of intelligence collection management and requirements development
  • Familiarity with intelligence community tools, data sources, and analytic environments
  • Proficiency with LMS and eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI)
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver distance learning content, including asynchronous modules, recorded lectures, and scenario-based exercises
  • Strong instructional capability to translate complex intelligence concepts into structured, measurable learning objectives
  • Effective communication skills for remote instruction and learner engagement
  • Understanding of classification guidance and handling procedures
  • Active or current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required

Education and Required Experience:

Education:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Space Operations, or related field; or a bachelor's degree and 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted

Years of Experience:
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in intelligence analysis, space intelligence, or related DoD/IC domain

Salary Range:
  • $115,000 -- $135,000 (annually); salary/start date contingent on contract award (~27 Apr 2026)
