We are seeking a Cleared People Operations & Security Liaison to support our growing organization and classified programs. This role operates at the intersection of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Personnel Security coordination, serving as a key liaison between internal teams and our outsourced Facility Security Officer (FSO).

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting cleared personnel lifecycle processes, strong stakeholder communication skills, and a proven ability to manage sensitive information in compliance‑driven environments. This is a non‑FSO role focused on coordination, tracking, and communication rather than formal security authority.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with two days per week onsite in our Tysons Corner, VA office and the remaining days remote.

To keep breaking barriers and redefining what's possible, we're looking for candidates with the following exceptional technical capabilities:

People Operations & HR Support
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and timely coordination across teams
  • Maintain confidential personnel records and personally identifiable information (PII) in accordance with company policy and government requirements
  • Assist with HR operational processes, including documentation, compliance tracking, and employee communications
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance staffing; develop and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness and to improve workflows.
  • Support HRIS administration

Talent Acquisition Support
  • Source candidates and support full‑lifecycle recruiting activities for cleared and non‑cleared positions, including coordination, candidate communications, and onboarding support
  • Review and evaluate technical resumes to ensure qualifications and experience align with customer requirements
  • Verify employment eligibility, clearance status, and required documentation for candidates and new hires
  • Partner with hiring stakeholders to ensure a smooth and compliant hiring experience
  • Assist with workforce planning, requisitions, and operational recruiting needs

Security Coordination & Liaison Duties
  • Liaison between HR, Talent Acquisition, program leadership, and the FSO
  • Coordinate personnel security actions including onboarding, offboarding, access updates, and security indoctrinations
  • Track clearance status, access approvals, expiration dates, and required actions
  • Ensure timely communication and follow‑up with internal stakeholders and the FSO to support compliance with contract and program requirements
  • Prepare clear written and verbal status updates for leadership related to personnel security activities
  • Support audits or reviews by ensuring documentation is organized and readily available (under FSO direction)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting HR, recruiting, administrative, and/or personnel security functions in a Gov Con environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating personnel security processes (onboarding, offboarding, access tracking, clearance verification)
  • Experience handling sensitive personnel data and PII with discretion and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/recruiting or workflow systems (preferably Paycom / iCIMS)

Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is strongly preferred


  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Experience supporting cleared programs within the federal contracting or intelligence community environment
  • Prior HR/ Talent Acquisition experience in a cleared recruiting environment (GovCon staffing capacity)
  • Familiarity working with external FSOs or security vendors (This position does not require FSO certification or direct NISPOM authority.)
  • Experience documenting and improving administrative or security‑related workflows
