Responsibilities
- Maintain all user accounts as required by the PM/ISSM. Track and document accounts on all FRCS equipment.
- Perform installation support to include installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of applicable hardware and software.
- Administer and manage the FRCS network, database, supporting operating systems, and supporting Windows OS.
- Manage, maintain, and administer the FRCS network components, servers, and workstations, to meet operational, availability, and mission requirements.
- For all equipment (workstations, servers, laptops, network devices, PLCs, and any other configurable device); create and store offline a reliable backup image that can be used to rebuild and restore the device after a misconfiguration, fault, component failure, crash, damaged device, etc.
- Maintain operating systems on Servers and Workstations. Evaluate and review OS updates for applicability as they are released.
- Maintain control system applications and the supporting databases by installing patches, updating database schema, and troubleshooting errors and faults.
- Perform system recovery due to faults, malfunctions, infections, etc. System recovery could either be recovering the system software to its previously known good state or replacing the hardware and re-imaging the device from a previously known good state
- Provide incident response capability to include identification, isolation, mitigation, system recovery, and reporting.

- Perform system security support to include ensuring artifacts such as ACAS, SCAP scans and STIG checklist files are uploaded to repositories such as eMASS and VRAM; ensuring STIGS align with the ATO authorization requirements; support RMF package development
- Ensure impacted system(s) are backed up as needed
- Support environment monitoring to include installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and administration of environment monitoring system(s)
- Provide documentation support by developing and maintaining related diagrams, lists, SOPs as relevant to system documentation.
- Support Failover and Disaster Recovery Testing by performing regular environment checks and developing and maintaining related SOPs.
- Perform regular patching or upgrade of all operating systems and or firmware.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2+ Years of progressive experience or
- Associate's degree and 6+ Years of progressive experience or
- HS Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ Years of progressive experience
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility, preferred. Or ability to obtain and maintain.
- IAT Level II Certification (i.e. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP); or higher preferred or be able to acquire an IAT II Certification within 6 months of employment.
- Experience with installing, maintaining and troubleshooting virtualized environments with VMWare ESXi hypervisors, server blades, Windows Domain Controllers, Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, SQL Servers, Crystal Servers and IIS web servers.
- At least 1 year of working knowledge and experience with hardening systems, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, RMF process.
- Working knowledge of Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) preferred
- IAT Level II Certification (i.e. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP); or higher, or be able to acquire an IAT II Certification within 6 months of starting contract (USSTRATCOM POLICY)
- Windows Server or VMWare certification preferred
- Working knowledge of Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) preferred
- A comprehensive, in-depth, practical knowledge of computer software/firmware/hardware technology for all applications, IM/IT Low voltage systems and operational environments.
- Technical knowledge must be sufficient to enable comprehension of work situations requiring the interpretation and development of new methods, approaches, and procedures.
- Knowledge of staff elements and functional areas with assigned responsibilities related to communications and automation.
