SAIC has an immediate need for a Logistics Analyst will provide direct support to the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Program Manager Fire Support Systems (PdM FSS), in support of the Fire Direction and Naval Fires Command & Control (FD&NFC2) portfolio. The PdM FSS mission includes equipping Marine Corps fire support units and ensuring sustained readiness through modernization, obsolescence mitigation, maintenance planning, and end‑to‑end logistics support.
NOTE: This position is for onsite support at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.
The analyst will play a key role in fielding activities, logistics documentation, provisioning analysis, lifecycle support planning, and distribution management for highly complex Marine Corps systems.

The analyst will play a key role in fielding activities, logistics documentation, provisioning analysis, lifecycle support planning, and distribution management for highly complex Marine Corps systems.
Key Responsibilities
Fielding Support & Logistics Documentation
- Support equipment fielding events, logistics publication development, and technical manual reviews.
- Perform Publication Validation/Verification to ensure accuracy and compliance with Marine Corps standards.
- Assist with or manage system birthing actions, as required.
- Maintain accountability of assets/systems within FD&NFC2 portfolio.
- Coordinate and track all shipments of software and hardware to the fleet
Acquisition & Lifecycle Logistics
- Draft and update program logistics documentation including:
- Single Acquisition Management Plans (or Lifecyle Sustainment Plans)
- Fielding Plans
- Disposal Plans
- Naval Messages
- Stock Lists
- Prepare documents for government review and acceptance in support of full lifecycle logistics planning.
Provisioning, Spares & Maintenance Analysis
- Plan, organize, and execute provisioning and spares analyses for complex fire-support systems.
- Analyze technical data, contractual documents, usage data, maintenance practices, and operational characteristics to determine provisioning requirements.
- Recommend maintenance/repair strategies to optimize readiness and reduce sustainment costs.
Logistics Planning & Supply Chain Optimization
- Develop logistics plans to enhance the distribution and sustainment of fielded systems.
- Identify and prioritize critical logistics assets and infrastructure necessary for operational success.
- Establish policies, guidelines, and processes that improve quality, accuracy, and cost control across logistics activities.
- Conduct distribution and network studies, assess inventory posture, and develop strategies to meet required delivery timelines.
Problem Solving & Process Improvement
- Serve as a technical resource for resolving unique or highly complex logistics issues across multiple projects.
- Develop process improvements that streamline workflows, reduce lifecycle cost, and improve system readiness.
- Provide work leadership or mentorship for junior staff when required.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS degree in Logistics, Acquisition or Sustainment, and six (6) years of related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Required Clearance:
- Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements
