Talent Acquisition Specialist
JHNA is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts across our newly combined enterprise of JHNA, CTSi , and Expansia . This individual will play a critical role in delivering top-tier talent in support of Department of Defense (DoD) programs, proposal efforts, and growth initiatives.
JHNA, CTSi , and Expansia have come together to form a Defense Engineering and Modernization platform focused on delivering high-impact services and advanced manufacturing solutions to U.S. national security customers. Backed by Falfurrias Management Partners, the organization brings deep expertise across digital engineering, systems integration, and advanced manufacturing, supporting Army, Navy, and Air Force missions.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Roles/Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles, including highly specialized cleared positions (Secret-TS/SCI), technical engineering roles, and corporate support functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and program leadership to understand contract requirements, labor categories (LCATs), and technical skill needs.
- Execute proactive sourcing strategies to build pipelines for both funded and proposal-based positions (e.g., contingent hires, capture support).
- Support business development and proposal efforts, including resume sourcing, formatting, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
- Maintain and grow a network of cleared and hard-to-find candidates, with a focus on DoD mission-critical skillsets (e.g., MBSE, AFSIM, DevSecOps , cyber, aviation systems).
- Ensure all recruiting activities are compliant with OFCCP, FAR/DFARS, and federal hiring regulations, including proper dispositioning and documentation.
- Create and manage job postings across cleared job boards and GovCon platforms (e.g., ClearanceJobs , LinkedIn, Indeed , etc.).
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and evaluations, providing insightful recommendations to hiring managers.
- Drive an exceptional candidate experience while maintaining speed, quality, and compliance.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and time-to-fill performance.
- Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to process improvements, SOPs, and recruiting best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's D egree in business administration, communications, human resources, or similar path.
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong preference for Department of Defense (DoD) or government contracting environments.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for cleared positions (Secret, TS, TS/SCI) and working within classified program constraints.
- Experience using ATS/HRIS systems (e.g., iSolved , iCIMS, Lever, or similar).
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of GovCon hiring practices, including labor categories (LCATs), proposal staffing, and contingent hiring desired.
- Working knowledge of federal compliance requirements (OFCCP, FAR, DFARS, EEO, E-Verify) desired.
