Job Description
Title: GIS Operator
Client: FBI
Location: Quantico, VA
5 years’ experience in the use of ESRI products, to include ArcGIS. Needs to be current in the ESRI software. Prefer to have someone with a technical degree (2-year minimum but prefer a 4-year degree) GIS (typically part of a college or university Geography degree program). Person will be responsible for updating and maintaining RPMS GIS data, to include support to others in RPMS and interaction with others in FBI for data storage and maintenance. Responsible for updating shape files, data layers etc. in the ESRI ArcGIS software. Responsible for interaction with others in ESRI and other local, state, and federal government entities that use GIS systems. Individual will need to be able to work either as a member of a team or independently as the situation dictates. Individual needs to be willing and able to do official TDY travel as directed, in the 10% - 15% of total time range.
