Senior Data Engineer (Logistics & Military Focus)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in logistics, specifically within military and Joint Staff environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data engineering, a thorough understanding of the different classes of supply, and experience supporting military-level logistics operations. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions to support mission-critical logistics decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Data Engineering: 8+ years of experience in data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, pipelines)
Logistics Experience: Demonstrated experience in military logistics (Joint Staff, DoD, etc.)
Classes of Supply: In-depth understanding of DoD supply classes (I-X) and logistics processes
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for logistics data.
- Integrate, analyze, and visualize logistics data using Advana, Gold Standard, Palantir Foundry, and COP platforms.
- Integrate and process large volumes of structured and unstructured logistics data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with logistics subject matter experts to ensure data solutions meet operational requirements.
- Develop data models and analytics to support supply chain optimization and readiness assessments.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with military standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
