Job Description
International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual for a Senior-Level Test and
Evaluation Engineer, providing engineering support to the US Navy. The selected individual will provide
subject matter expertise testing and evaluating US Navy weapon systems.
Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Math or Science Discipline with at least ten (10)
years of professional experience.
Required experience includes:
• Working with developmental and operational test and evaluation processes and documentation,
including development of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) for ships and/or submarines;
• Review of engineering documentation in support of system installation, test, and verification;
• Knowledge of weapon and combat system development, integration, and sustainment processes;
• Assessing and developing system improvements, design updates, and lifetime support activities;
• Development of system requirements, POA&Ms, and navigating technical databases.
• Use of Microsoft Office Products;
• Strong communication skills (oral and written);
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desired experience includes:
• Working with Command and Control systems, and their interaction with Sensor and Weapon systems;
• Developing, integrating, and/or testing tactical software for weapon and/or combat systems;
• Developing, reviewing, and/or implementing requirements and specifications for complex systems;
• Management of combat system baseline requirements, development, test, and certification;
• Interoperability testing and certification processes including modeling and simulation capabilities;
• Development and execution of Risk Management processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize
tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations. The position will be located in Washington,
DC and will require travel approximately 20% of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and able to
obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
