Job Description
International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual for Junior Test and Evaluation
Engineer, providing engineering support to the US Navy. The selected individual will support integration and
testing of US Navy weapon systems on ships and/or submarines.
Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Math or Science Discipline with at least two (2)
years of professional experience.
Required experience includes:
• Working with developmental and operational test and evaluation processes and documentation,
including development of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP);
• Review of engineering documentation in support of system installation, test, and verification;
• Understanding system development processes, POA&Ms, and navigation of technical databases;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products;
• Strong communication skills (oral and written);
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desired experience includes:
• Knowledge of Command and Control Systems, and their interaction with Sensor and Weapon systems
• Developing, integrating, and/or testing tactical software for weapon or combat systems
• Developing, reviewing, and/or implementing requirements and specifications for complex systems
• Complex system baseline management and certification
• Interoperability testing and certification processes including modeling and simulation capabilities
• Risk management processes and procedures
The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize
tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations. The position will be located in Washington,
DC and will require travel approximately 15% of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and able to
obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
