Langley AFB, Virginia | IAFNOS Contract | Full-Time | On-Site
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

POSITION OVERVIEW
OSAAVA Services is seeking a Network Systems Administrator II to support the Integrated Air Force Network Operations and Services (IAFNOS) contract at Langley AFB, Virginia. This position supports the 690th Cyberspace Operations Group performing 24/7/365 Air Force Information Network (AFIN) operations, including defensive cyberspace operations (DCO), network management, information assurance, and fault resolution to maintain Air Force cyberspace superiority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and data communications networks
- Monitor and manage network performance, usage, and availability across the enterprise
- Maintain network security and ensure compliance with DoD security policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware, software, and infrastructure incidents
- Install, configure, and perform upgrades on network equipment and operating systems
- Create and manage incident tickets; escalate as necessary to Tier 2/3
- Document network issues, events, and resolutions using standard formats
- Support disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore operations
- Report network status to Network Operations Controllers as events unfold
- Participate in development and implementation of network standards and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active DoD Secret clearance required; CV enrollment must be current in DISS
- 3–5 years of hands-on network administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field — or equivalent experience
- DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required at start date (Security+ CE minimum)
- Experience with LAN/WAN administration, routing, switching, and network protocols
- Proficiency with Windows Server and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, or similar)
- Familiarity with STIG hardening for servers, desktops, and network devices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience on IAFNOS or similar AF/DoD network operations contracts
- Familiarity with Remedy or similar ITSM ticketing systems
- Cisco routing/switching experience or CCNA certification
- Experience with HBSS / McAfee ePO suite
- Knowledge of AFIN operations and defensive cyberspace operations (DCO)
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
- Familiarity with NIST RMF, DISA STIGs, and IA compliance frameworks
