Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Test Engineer / System Test Engineer for the Launch Systems team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position will support system test activities be responsible including prototype, development and qualification testing.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Test Engineer / System Test Engineer for the Launch Systems team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position will support system test activities be responsible including prototype, development and qualification testing.
What You'll Get To Do:
- Position on the System Test Team to develop system level test and integration activities.
- Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives, verification requirements, data objectives, and verification cases for test activities in the integration labs.
- Candidate will develop system level test information, planning, and verification diagrams using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/software.
- Candidate will produce architecture models for the lab environment and test configurations.
- Position requires knowledge of system integration and test principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Candidate will be required to prepare and brief leadership on the test and integration between system segment.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Test Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Test Engineer level (T-03).
- Systems Test Engineer: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters; additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Principal Systems Test Engineer: 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD; additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need )
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
- Previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc).
- Experience performing in a Systems/Systems Test Engineering or related technical discipline and understanding of systems engineering principles and processes which include test requirements, test plan development and integration testing.
- Familiarity with product integration, regression, and verification testing.
- Knowledge of system integration and test principles.
- Experience developing Test Plans and Test Procedures.
- Experience working in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment using software such as DOORS, CAMEO, UML or SysML.
- Knowledge of System Integration and Test Principles.
- Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards and methods.
- Experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA or CONFLUENCE).
- Experience with Automated Test Tools i.e. IBM ELM Jazz or MATLAB Scripting.
- Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and data review including post-test data analysis.
