Job Title: Fire Watch
Job Summary:
Respond to any fire alarm or fire alarm panel trouble at FLETC Charleston or Naval Weapon Station at night. As DAWSONs Fire Watch Technician, you will ensure all fire panel alarms will be responded to within the contract required time frame and determine the reason for the alarm and notify anyone of danger if any or return the system to full function.

Responsibilities:
- Perform night fire watch and response duties including determining the reason for the alarm.
- Respond to any fire panel alarm within the required time when called.
- Be able to silence the alarm and return the system to full function by silencing the alarm.
- Report any issues/problems to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor if system needs to be serviced immediately due to a fault that cannot be fixed by silencing or if a system error/malfunction that requires immediate correction.

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with fire alarm panels and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Availability to work over night on Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, including holidays.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible for DHS background investigation and suitability clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.
- This position may require the operation of Company-provided vehicles.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, maintaining a valid drivers license in good standing is a condition of employment.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, employee must comply with all Company vehicle use and safety policies, as well as all applicable traffic laws.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, the Company may review your motor vehicle record (MVR), as permitted by law, to verify eligibility to operate Company vehicles.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, you must immediately notify the Company if your drivers license is suspended, revoked, restricted, expires, or if your driving privileges otherwise change.

- Work schedules are determined by management and may be modified at any time based on business needs, contractual obligations, and operational requirements.
