Description:Role Overview
As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will plan and execute testing for complex systems and subsystems. You'll turn technical requirements into practical test approaches, work hands-on with hardware, and help ensure systems perform as expected-from early integration through final validation.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation
• Translate requirements into clear, executable test strategies
• Support system integration by defining specifications and resolving interface issues
• Lead and support test execution, including setup, scheduling, and reporting
• Analyze results and document system performance
• Identify issues, write discrepancy reports, and support resolution
• Perform regression testing to confirm fixes
• Coordinate testing activities across teams and programs
• Work directly with hardware in lab and integration environments
Work Environment
• Hands-on role in labs, test facilities, and integration sites
• Team-based environment with close collaboration across engineering groups
• Fast-paced work tied to program milestones and test schedules
• May require flexibility in hours during key testing periods

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all of the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field such as Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Hands-on experience with system or subsystem testing
• Experience using radio frequency (RF) test equipment and hardware
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Willingness to support testing needs that may include extended hours or alternate shifts
Desired Skills:
These are not required but will strengthen your application:
• 1-2+ years of related professional experience
• Certified Test Conductor (CTC) or similar certification
• Experience with test automation or integration of lab, ground, or flight hardware
• Knowledge of RF components (e.g., antennas, receivers, amplifiers)
• Experience integrating or troubleshooting commercial or government off-the-shelf components (COTS/GOTS)
• Familiarity with test instrumentation, data collection, and control systems
• Background in aerospace, defense, or similar system-level testing environments
• Comfortable working in collaborative teams and adapting to changing priorities
• Ability to travel occasionally, if needed
