Job Description:
We are seeking two experienced contractor developers to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of Customer Engineering application solutions. The ideal candidates will contribute to application development, support production systems, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable business applications.
One position is ideally suited for a Salesforce-focused developer, while the other is intended for a traditional application developer with experience in modern web and database technologies. Candidates with a strong combination of the skills listed below and a willingness to learn our business processes and technologies. The ideal overall candidate has experience across both traditional full-stack .NET development and Salesforce development. However, candidates may be considered for either role based on depth of experience in the relevant skill set.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain business applications supporting Customer Engineering operations
• Support production applications and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Translate business and technical requirements into functional application solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to deliver effective, reliable solutions
• Assist with application maintenance, data management, and process improvements
• Contribute to system enhancements, modernization efforts, and technical design discussions
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business, technical, and supportability requirements
Required / Desired Skills
Full-Stack .NET / Traditional Development Skills
Strong experience with some or all of the following is desired:
• ASP.NET MVC, preferably in C#
• C#
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• Angular
• T-SQL
• PL/SQL
• VBA
• XML
• HTML
• ColdFusion 9 or later
Salesforce Development Skills
Strong experience with some or all of the following is highly desired for one of the contractor positions:
• Salesforce development using Apex
• Agent force experience
• Service Cloud experience
• Sales Cloud experience
• Tableau
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Full-stack .NET application development
• Salesforce application development
• Web application development
• Database development and support
• Production support and application enhancement
Education / Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
