Financial Data Analyst

The Opportunity :

As a Finan cia l Data Analyst, you'll bring your technical, analytical, and operational support expertise to work alongside thought leaders in data analytics, digital engineering, and finan cia l management on projects supporting operations across EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility. You'll use your skills and expertise to integrate, analyze, and improve finan cia l data processes and systems that enable mission execution.

Work with us to identify inefficiencies, improve fiscal data workflows, and deliver actionable insights that enhance decision-making, continuity, and operational effectiveness across complex defense finan cia l systems.

This position supports a mission-essential finan cia l data environment and is structured to encompass two skill sets under one role. These include process and change management and program support-driving process improvement, supporting continuity, developing SOPs, and helping stabilize and mature finan cia l workflows and reporting, and data engineering and technical analytics-supporting data integration, transformation, and analysis across structured and unstructured finan cia l data sources and enabling scalable analytics and reporting. To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable operating in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

What You'll Work On:

• Lead or support change management efforts and workflow improvements.
• Support continuity of operations by maintaining institutional knowledge , SOPs, and process documentation.
• Support data validation, quality checks, and compliance-focused finan cia l analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting processes and data usability.
• Support data transformation, automation, and visualization efforts.
• Integrate and analyze finan cia l data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Compile, review, and format fiscal data extracts and reports for leadership a war eness.
• Identify trends, recurring issues, and process inefficiencies within finan cia l data workflows.

You Have:

• Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources
• Knowledge of finan cia l data workflows, reporting processes, or fiscal data management
• Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies within datasets
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting Department of Defense ( DoD ) finan cia l systems, data platforms, or analytics environments
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data integration, and automation
• Knowledge of process improvement or change management met hodologies
• Ability to develop dashboards or data visualizations with tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
