Job Description

Summary

Chenega Sentinel 360 is seeking a Badging Specialist to support visitor control and credentialing operations at a government facility in Albuquerque, NM. This role is responsible for issuing, controlling, and maintaining DOE security badges while ensuring compliance with federal identity, access, and security requirements

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities

  • Process and issue permanent and temporary DOE security badges in accordance with site procedures
  • Verify identity, clearance status, and access authorization prior to credential issuance
  • Operate computerized badging and access control systems to encode and manage credentials
  • Process classified and unclassified visit requests and maintain associated documentation
  • Perform HSPD‑12 badging functions, including identity verification and credential activation
  • Account for, secure, recover, and destroy badges and badging materials as required
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to badge issuance, visits, and access actions
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative, security, visitor control, or credentialing/badging functions
  • Experience working with access control systems, visitor management systems, or identification/badging systems
  • Ability to work in a secure environment and properly handle sensitive and controlled information


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures
