The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.
SPA has an immediate need for a Project Control Analyst.
Responsibilities
The Project Control Analyst will apply best practices to support financial plans and policies, accounting practices, and procedures, c reate new program forecasts and EACs, and m anage financial structure/revenue setup for and attend internal project kick-off meetings. They will d evelop and maintain customer financial reports and deliverables, a ssist with cash flow by approving expenses, ensuring invoices are submitted to clients in a timely manner, and analyzing the DSO to look for ways to improve processes and procedures, w ork with the Division Business Manager to track and report cost, revenue, and profits, as well as conducting monthly variance analysis on actuals, p articipate in the development and maintenance of an annual waterfall to include active programs and pipeline opportunities, m anage and monitor subcontractor and consultant funding, expenditures, and accruals, p articipate in pricing exercises and develop cost estimates. Additionally, they will s upport financial planning, forecasts, and provide controller responsibilities such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and GL journal entries, w ork with Program Managers to support program success and interact with all functional and line organizations, and a pply energies in a fast-paced environment and balance closing each month with attending PM/customer meetings.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to communicate to decision makers
Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting Tools
- Exposure to FAR compliance, CAS compliance, DCAA compliance, GAAP compliance, and SOX compliance
