This role is the powerhouse behind Air Force program execution-driving plans, schedules, risks, and decisions that keep complex weapon-system programs moving forward. Responsibilities
Duties includ e, but not limited to:
Acquisition Program Planning & Integration
- Support day-to-day execution of acquisition strategies, milestone planning, and program documentation in accordance with DoD 5000-series guidance.
- Integrate inputs from engineering, logistics, contracting, security, and financial management teams to ensure program alignment and timely decision support.
- Provide senior-level analysis to track program cost, schedule, performance, and risks, ensuring compliance with PWS quality expectations for acquisition support personnel.
- Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition artifacts, including requirement documents, roadmaps, and briefings.
- Manage program actions, suspense tracking, workflow coordination, stakeholder communication, and meeting preparation for both classified and unclassified program activities.
- Support program leadership with development of program plans, schedules, risk registers, configuration updates, and program reviews.
- Maintain program documentation, records, and references in compliance with Air Force records-management requirements.
- Prepare senior-level program statuses, briefings, and decision packages for Program Managers, Senior Material Leaders, and higher headquarters.
- Facilitate integration across multifunctional teams, ensuring program decisions are informed and synchronized across engineering, contracting, T&E, logistics, and security disciplines.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders to support milestone reviews, audits, configuration boards, working groups, and executive-level engagements.
- Meet all personnel, training, and security requirements defined within the PWS, including trustworthiness and security-clearance requirements.
- Ensure acquisition activities are completed with quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
