What You’ll Be Doing
As a TAC Shift Lead, you’ll be the on shift technical and operational lead, responsible for system stability, incident response, and guiding a small team of Tier 2 TAC analysts during your shift.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading daily operations for a 5 person Tier 2 TAC shift
• Providing advanced technical support for hybrid cloud and data center environments
• Monitoring, triaging, and resolving infrastructure issues across physical and virtual systems
• Running incident bridges, coordinating escalations, and engaging Tier 3 engineering teams as needed
• Executing ITSM processes such as incident, event, request, and queue management
• Providing clear written and verbal status updates to leadership
• Mentoring and guiding junior TAC team members
This role is both technical and leadership focused—you’re expected to stay hands on while owning shift level outcomes.

• On site in Kansas City, MO (no remote)
• Night Shift supporting 24x7 operations
• Night and weekend shifts are part of the rotation (shifts typically rotate every several months)
