- 5 or more years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations required

What You Will Do
You will support cyber incident management and operations by:
- Managing cyber incidents across the full incident response lifecycle
- Maintaining accurate and timely reporting within case management and ticketing systems
- Coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive response efforts
- Ingesting, validating, and analyzing information to determine appropriate courses of action
- Tracking and updating incidents with consistency, accuracy, and reliability
- Drafting summaries and reports and delivering briefings to leadership
- Maintaining knowledge records and documentation within systems of record
- Supporting risk-based prioritization of incidents using national-level frameworks such as NCISS
- Assisting in threat and vulnerability analysis, including identification of threat actors and attack patterns
- Supporting teams engaged in network monitoring, security operations analysis, and system hardening
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
- 5 or more years of experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations
- Strong understanding of incident response methodologies and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with NIST 800-62 and FISMA reporting requirements
- Knowledge of the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System for incident prioritization
- Understanding of cyber attack stages and adversary tactics
- Ability to recognize and categorize vulnerabilities and associated threats
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Incident Management, Operations Management, or related field
- Additional years of relevant experience in place of a degree
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat environments ranging from non-state to nation-state actors
- Knowledge of system and application vulnerabilities and exploit techniques
- Experience with operating system hardening and cyber defense policies and procedures
- Certifications such as Security+ or GCIH
