Description:The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Associate Manager to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
*Please note we will not provide relocation services for this position.

What does this role look like?
This is a lead role for an experienced professional working to sustain legacy test consoles that verify mission packages meet all requirements as built.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• In this role the you will lead a team of engineers, interface with internal organizations, and interface with our customer set, supporting the FBM program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
• Manage a number of test consoles, ensuring the consoles remain functional and online with a background in automated test equipment, troubleshooting, process flow, and HW/SW integration, as well as functional management of staff.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• 3+ years of professional experience for this role.
• Strong technical background with experience in integrated test consoles / automated test equipment.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience
• You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS degree in Engineering or related discipline, and fluent in agile program management tools and techniques, with a focus on balancing cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Strong technical background with experience in integrated test consoles / automated test equipment.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience analyzing failure modes in test equipment, with cost effective solutioning.
• Technical lead experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams through project lifecycles including milestone adherence.
Desired Skills:
• Strong technical background with 5+ years experience in integrated test consoles / automated test equipment.
• 3+ years extensive troubleshooting experience analyzing failure modes in test equipment, with cost effective solutioning.
• 3+ years technical lead experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams through project lifecycles including milestone adherence.
• BS degree in Engineering or related discipline, and fluent in agile program management tools and techniques, with a focus on balancing cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in sustainment of tech products.
• Must be able to work autonomously, drive items to closure, and lead teams through task completion.
• Previous experience with supplier technical support, travel for troubleshooting, and remote troubleshooting.
• Previous experience communicating and presenting to senior management.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and fluent in the Microsoft suite of tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
