You will be the Software Engineer (Software Product Acquisition Manager) Level 4 for the EO/IR IPT which is responsible for managing supplier software development supporting the F-35 Electro-Optical/Infra-Red program.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong discipline in software development processes and methodologies.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with JIRA, SW Depot, CART and Automet
• Experience with SIMS
• Supplier technical management experience
• Eligible for programs specific clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer (Software Product Acquisition Manager) Level 4 you will be responsible for overseeing all supplier software activities, influencing design decisions, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide engineering management and oversight of supplier software development for the F-35 EO/IR IPT.
- Coordinate supplier software deliveries and report periodic project status to Program Management.
- Manage EO/IR Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue resolution.
- Maintain EO/IR entries in the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and flight-series data modules.
- Update and publish the EO/IR Interface Requirements Specification and message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS).
