Description:Join the Lockheed Martin team in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Titusville FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
As an Electronics Engineer, you will perform Engineering functions in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.
Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Participate in technical reviews and audits.
• Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.
• Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.
• lead the research, design, development, and testing of avionics electronics hardware.
• Designs and develop circuits used in electronic packages.
• Support the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.
• Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer
• 8+ years professional experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.
• Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer
• Experience in designing electronics hardware.
• Experience with the production and test of electronics hardware.
• Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
• Excellent teaming, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience in missile design, development, and testing
• Ability to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision making
• Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Tools such as SPICE.
• Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
• Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced,
dynamic, collaborative team environment and to
build consensus among peers and effective
relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and
conflict resolution skills.
• Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate
self-initiative in solving complex problems.
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team
environment.
