Description:What We're Doing
Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
-Ensuring that the developed system realizes the architecture, requirements, and technical baseline.
- Work closely with the Cyber Team Lead and Cyber Engineering Lead
- Documenting lessons learned, best security Engineering practices, and industry standards will be required in daily tasks
- Responsible for working with program Operations leadership to mature cyber operations and protection measures.

-This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Top Secret level prior to starting; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
-The role may involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have DoD Final Top Secret clearance prior to starting
- Must currently be on the C2BMC Program
- DoD 8140 certification IAT- Level II or higher ( Security+ or higher)
- Must have Scrum Master experience
- Strong Cybersecurity background to include knowledge of the following: Identity and Access Management methodologies, encryption algorithms, cryptology, database and enterprise information security architecture.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in analyzing design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security designs to identify necessary lifecycle support.
- Be able to apply security policies to applications that interface with one another. - Assess the effectiveness of information protection measures utilized by system(s).
- Assess threats to and vulnerabilities of computer system(s) to develop a security risk profile.
- Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working or theoretical models.
- Conduct assessments of the application's security design for the appropriate security controls, which protect the confidentiality and integrity Information. Integrate information assurance (IA) or IA-enabled products.
Ability to design and develop secure interface specifications between interconnected systems.
- Ability to design, develop, integrate, and update system security measures (including policies and requirements) that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Ability to design hardware, operating systems, and software applications to adequately address information assurance (IA) security requirements.
- Ability to design or integrate appropriate data backup capabilities into overall system designs and ensure appropriate technical and procedural processes exist for secure system backups and protected storage of backup data.
- Ability to design to minimum security requirements to ensure requirements are met for all systems and/or applications.
- Have developed architectures or system components consistent with technical specifications.
-Proven proficiency in the implementation of information assurance (IA) principles and requirements relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol [TCP/IP], Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol [DHCP]) and directory services (e.g., Domain Name System [DNS]).

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
