Come join Lockheed's Strategic Reentry Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.

As a Systems Engineer you will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for one of our country's most vital and sophisticated strategic systems! As a Systems Engineer developing Tech Orders for Reentry Systems deliverable hardware, you will:
• Provide leadership and direct support to programs to develop integrated logistics plans
• Develop and maintain the Technical Orders (TO) handbooks/manuals for ICBM hardware and support equipment
• Train field technicians on proper use and maintenance of all Lockheed Martin delivered equipment
• Interface directly with the end-user to understand customer needs
• Develop positive working customer relationships
• Work closely with the customer counterpart to field systems

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a technician, maintainer, or depot support engineer for DoD strategic systems
• Experience with DoD acquisition life cycle, especially deployment and sustainment phases
• Experience with hardware maintenance, test, and checkout
• Active DoD Secret level clearance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience communicating with customers and system end-users
Desired Skills:
• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
• Experience with ICBM hardware and support equipment
• Field and/or depot support experience with Minuteman systems
• Customer facing / end user interfacing experience
• Ability to support multiple programs concurrently
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team
• Understanding of Systems Thinking skills and behaviors
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
