The AUKUS, Submarines, and Industrial Base Group (ASIG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to DRPM SUBS program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine construction, industrial base management and workforce development. DRPM SUBS unifies submarine program activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program, the new SSN-X program, and the AUKUS Pillar I trilateral conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarine program to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting DPRM SUBS will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition.
Responsibilities
The Program Analyst will provide support to the DRPM SUBS SIB team acting as Chief of Staff to the Program Manager. The Analyst will serves as the principal advisor and integrator for the Program Manager, ensuring alignment of strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement across the Submarine Industrial Base portfolio and driving execution discipline, synchronizing cross-functional efforts, and enabling informed decision-making in a complex, high-visibility national security environment. In acting as the Chief of Staff, the Analyst will provide strategic integration and execution, program governance support, stakeholder coordination and communication, efforts to synchronize industrial base stakeholders, establish operational rhythm (meeting scheduling and coordination, reviews, reporting), data analysis and integration, and other tasking and initiatives as required in support of the program.
This position is located in Alexandria, VA with some opportunity to travel to partner and industry stakeholder locations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years professional experience
- 5+ years experience with DoD
- Junior officer with US Submarine or Surface Warfare Officer (Nuclear) experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, to communicate to decision makers
- Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Additional Qualifications Desired, but not required:
- Experience with Team Submarine and NAVSEA
- Experience/knowledge of Navy acquisition program office organizations and processes
- Experience working with international partners
