Specialized Experience: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service which includes: Managed Army system acquisition programs across development, production, fielding, and major modifications; developed project plans and evaluated technical and financial data to track progress and resolve issues; reviewed and approved contractor deliverables and configuration changes; and translated program needs into actionable requirements while assessing budget and policy impacts and briefing senior leaders on progress, risks, and recommendations.

- Assistant Program Manager responsible for managing new systems through advanced development, production and fielding.
- Assistant Program Manager responsible for managing new systems through fielded systems undergoing extensive modification, retrofit, or rebuild.
- Assistant Program Manager responsible for managing new systems through specified categories of critical problem issues associated with one or more fielded systems.
- Exercises management control of all functional inputs to the program.
- Develops plans for accomplishment of assigned projects.
- Develops and establishes the controls necessary to manage internal operations, matrix support and the support of other command and agencies.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
