Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Motor Vehicle Operator (Materials Handler) Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Planning basic work schedules, directing the work of employees, and performing limited administrative functions such as reviewing job information and assisting with employee performance evaluations. Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment, and perform packaging duties involving receiving, shipping, storing, locating and re-warehousing hazardous materials such as ammunition, explosives, missiles and missile components. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Education

- Responsible for all shipping and receiving operations within LEMC, exercising full supervisory responsibility through subordinate supervisors and leaders over work operations.
- Supervises the accomplishment of receiving, storage, intra-depot movement, blocking/bracing, and issue of munitions in a depot/wholesale operation.
- Plans the annual work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
- Assigns and explains work requirements to subordinate levels of supervision and sets deadlines and sequence of operations.
- Assures that subordinate supervisors effectively carry out policies to achieve management objectives in such areas as labor-management relations and equal employment opportunity goals in accordance with DA and local policies.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment.
- Incumbent must be cleared IAW requirements of AR 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA/E).
- Incumbent must meet the requirements of AMCR 350-4, Training and Certification Program for personnel working in ammunition operations.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License(CDL) with Hazardous Material(Haz Mat) endorsement, within 120 days of employment.
