Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: . I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Taking a thorough, conscientious approach to work performed. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Identifying a client or customer need and provides a quality product or service. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Expresses information via oral presentation. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying technical knowledge to manage an Information Assurance (IA) program; performing security analyses and design; and providing mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate identified risks.

- You will develop, manages and maintains the Information Assurance Program for the Command.
- You will provide technical direction to a staff of military, civilian and contractor personnel.
- You will create, modify, and enforce command IA policies and procedures in accordance to DOD, DON, and USMC policies and guidelines.
- You will implement and oversee the Command Network Security Program.
- You will coordinate systems administrators in monitoring the network for vulnerabilities and compromises.
- You will develop and recommend protective network and physical security devise and systems for acquisitions and implementation.
- You will develop, manages, prepares contracts, reviews, and oversees the budget requirements.
