JOB SUMMARY:
The Tow Team Foreman is responsible to manage movement of all assigned helicopters safely at all RTC/AFTD hangars, airfield parking and test locations. Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Must meet qualifications of Aircraft movement manager with minimum of 10 years' verifiable experience working within the Army or Armed forces equivalent system with verifiable leadership experience. Tow Team Foreman is required demonstrate knowledge of the Army Aviation Maintenance program to include scheduled maintenance Towing procedures, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estimates. This position will be required to enforce the company's direction, policies, procedures, and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Execute work plans and schedules in accordance with contract requirements, plans and specifications.
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
- Regularly reporting project status to Supervisors, Production Control and other Maintenance Foreman.
- Create schedules for assigned employees.
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:
- This position supervises and leads tow team members for safe movement of all RTC/AFTD Mission Design Series (MDS) helicopters.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Advance knowledge of various aircraft tie downs, concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills: ability to take initiative and lead a work crew.
- Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from supervisor(s), high degree of attention to details, follow work rules, and adhere to project schedule.
- Time-management skills to meet deadlines and ensure aircraft movements are completed to avoid damaging weather events.
- Ability to work productively under pressure.
- Strong self-motivation and work ethic; ability to work with or without direct supervision.
- Ability to participate in group meetings.
- Ability to operate aircraft tugs and move helicopters in a safe and efficient manner.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and effectively plan and organize duties to meet deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 10 years of aircraft movement and towing.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising a Tow Team crew as Foreman or Lead.
- Working knowledge of the scheduling aircraft movement, and unit manhour performance.
- Experience with leading tow team members for safe movement of all RTC/AFTD Mission Design Series (MDS) helicopters.
- Valid state driver's license and must be qualified to operate government vehicles under the conditions of the RTC's Driving Policy.
- Ability to pass a drug, driving and background screening.
