Job Description

Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer (Mid-Level) to support our U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program.This role focuses on functional, system, and integration testing of applications built using Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot).

Duties & Responsibilities

Functional & System Testing

  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Validate system behavior against requirements
  • Track defects using Jira


Application & API Testing

  • Test Angular web applications and Java/Spring Boot APIs
  • Perform API testing (Postman or similar)
  • Validate data accuracy and outputs


Collaboration & Support

  • Work with developers to resolve defects
  • Support UAT and stakeholder validation
  • Assist with release validation


DevSecOps & Quality Integration

  • Support testing within CI/CD pipelines
  • Validate builds during deployments
  • Improve testing processes


Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE)
  • 3+ years software testing experience
  • Experience executing test plans independently
  • Experience with Jira
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred
  • DoD experience
  • Angular/Java familiarity
  • API testing (Postman)
  • SQL/data validation
  • CI/CD exposure
  • DISA STIG familiarity
