Overview
- Support multiple mission-critical federal programs in a fast-paced, highly automated DevOps environment
- Work with a small, collaborative team of 4-6 engineers across multiple programs (not siloed)
- Strong opportunities for vertical and horizontal growth in a cloud-native engineering environment
Responsibilities
- Support migration and deployment of applications in an on-prem cloud infrastructure
- Assist application teams with deployments, shared services, and infrastructure design
- Recommend solutions to maximize efficient use of hardware resources
- Develop and maintain automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible
- Support containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and containerd
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins)
- Implement monitoring and metrics using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic
- Provision storage and manage data backup and restore solutions (OpenEBS, Gluster)
- Work in a Linux-only environment (CentOS preferred)
- Leverage Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience in a technical and/or regulated environment
- Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment with cloud-based tools
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (dynamic and compiled)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
Desired Qualifications
- Microservices architecture and design experience
- Experience supporting multiple programs simultaneously
- Strong understanding of observability and metrics
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent (highly preferred)
- Stable employment history (not a frequent job changer)
