[About the Role]
Join a dynamic engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX, as a Technical/Professional Engineering Aide. In this hands-on role, you'll fabricate and assemble complex electrical systems, contributing directly to the creation of advanced technology for engineering and manufacturing production. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, draftsmen, and quality inspectors, gaining exposure to cutting-edge processes and a supportive team environment. This is a full-time opportunity with occasional overtime, ideal for driven professionals seeking to advance their technical expertise.

[Responsibilities]

- Place and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies with precision
- Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and mounting hardware application
- Assemble lower-level builds into single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for Engineering or Production delivery
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides to ensure accurate fabrication
- Communicate process or design issues clearly to engineers and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement in fabrication
- Maintain compliance with MIL STD requirements and safety protocols (safety shoes required)

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Active Secret Clearance (must have at time of application)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in fabrication environments (cable/wire harness, SMT board fabrication, or military product maintenance)
- Prior certification in soldering and harness fabrication to MIL STD requirements
- Proven ability to fabricate electrical equipment from engineering documentation
- Proficient in verbal and written communication of technical issues
- Experience using software tools and Microsoft Office products
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision

[Preferred Skills]

- Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 standards
- Experience procuring and acquiring test materials
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering
