Senior Program Manager

Senior Program Manager supporting Joint Tactical Integrated Fire Control (JTIFC)
Responsibilities:
- Provide PMO support to drive standardized program execution and governance practices
- Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve coordination, transparency, and efficiency
- Develop and standardize workflows for planning, intake, prioritization, and execution across stakeholders
- Establish and support governance frameworks, including review cadences, status reporting, and decision-making structures
- Implement and manage program controls such as decision logs, action tracking, and configuration management
- Oversee issue/defect tracking and release management processes
- Ensure alignment with SDLC practices, including versioning, bug tracking, and release control
- Coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders and support enterprise-level program execution
- Deliver executive-level reporting to senior government stakeholders
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of Program Management experience, including PMO establishment or support
- Experience developing SOPs, standardizing workflows, and implementing mechanisms such as decision logs, action tracking, and configuration management
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms
- Experience overseeing issue/defect tracking and release management processes.
- Strong understanding of SDLC concepts sufficient to manage software-related processes (e.g., bug tracking, versioning, release control)
- Experience interfacing with senior government stakeholders and delivering clear, actionable reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs
- Working knowledge of defense acquisition, agile software development, and integrated air and missile defense
- Background in process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Familiarity with configuration management practices for controlled documents or technical specifications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
