Systems Engineer

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing 100 % employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to support a space payload R&D group. This individual will directly support the execution of design, development, integration and testing efforts of multiple space payload programs . The candidate will work as an individual contributor and within a diverse, multi- discipline engineering team, and will be responsible for supporting payload design, der iving system requirements, assisting with system test and requirements verification .

Responsibilities

• Support system architecture development for space payload systems
• Derive, document, and manage system and subsystem requirements
• Maintain requirements traceability and support requirements verification and validation efforts
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation and technical artifacts
• Support system integration, testing, and verification activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple programs
• Identify risks, gaps, and deficiencies in system design and provide mitigation strategies
• Support and participate in program-level design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Execute tasks independently while meeting aggressive schedules and program milestones

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related enginee ring field
• Minimum of 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering processes, including system architecture, requirements development, and requirements management
• Experience generating engineering documentation and supporting requirement verification and close-out
• Experience supporting programs across the full lifecycle (concept through delivery)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on fast-paced projects with tight deadlines
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in Syst ems Engineering or related engineering field
• 10 + years of Systems Engineering experience
• Experience leading academic or professional design and development projects
• Experience supporting space-based payloads or aerospace systems
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
• Experience developing systems engineering artifacts such as specifications, development plans, and technical data packages
• Experience identifying design review deficiencies and recommending mitigation approaches
• Hands-on test experience, including planning, execution, and data analysis
• Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to delivery
• Strong presentation skills with experience supporting technical design reviews
• Active SECRET clearance or higher
