HX5 is currently seeking a Product Catalog Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Salary: This position is expected to pay $43.26/hr - $52.88/hr; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

HX5 is currently seeking a Product Catalog Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of product catalog entries to correct any inaccuracies.
- Work closely with the application development team (Remedy/Helix) to ensure the corrections are being captured in the CMDB.
- Creating and managing an alias list for all products
- Entering new products into the catalog and doing the research to ensure all the data put in for the products are accurate.
- Review new incoming products to create the correct entries and categories in the BMC Remedy/Helix system.
- Reviewing automated BMC Discovery reports for errors and discrepancies and correcting them.
- Research and update EOL/EOS dates with vendors and/or MFGs to ensure the date accuracy.
- Coordinating with Asset Management to produce reports on products with upcoming EOL/EOS dates. Distribute and brief those reports to the appropriate teams.
- Coordinate the products managed with the Property, Purchasing, Digital Receiving, and Material Handling teams. Work with these teams on the data flows to ensure each is receiving the correct data they require.
The successful candidate will:

- Be able to summarize and explain technical concepts.
- Work under minimal supervision
- Prioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely manner
- Provide useful suggestions on improving processes
- Maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peers
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Have a sharp eye for details
- Have the ability to move from big-picture to small details thinking when needed.
Education and Experience:
- Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience
- Must have experience with BMC Remedy/Helix.
- Must have an understanding of coding languages and software engineering.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Salary: This position is expected to pay $43.26/hr - $52.88/hr; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
