Description:
You will be a Field Service Engineer for the F-22 Depot support team. Our team is responsible for providing technical, logistical, and operational support for the Ogden, Utah Air Logistics Center F-22 Depot team to modify, upgrade, and overhaul the F-22 fleet.
What You Will Be Doing
As the F-22 Field Support Engineer, you will act as a technical interface to the Ogden Air Logistics Complex F-22 depot customer to resolve issues arising during modification and maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• The preferred candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert in Avionics and Air Vehicle Systems with the skill set to accomplish aircraft systems troubleshooting and analysis.
• Advising and tracking of TCTO and maintenance requirements
• Attend debriefings to aid in the rapid identification of emerging issues that require maintenance solutions to avoid delay in depot schedules
• Document all unusual operation / maintenance problems to ensure the company is apprised of and can identify emerging failure trends.
• Provide training to customer personnel. Must be able to work and interact with the maintainer as well as the professional engineers from other F-22 companies as a peer.
• Selected candidate must be willing and able to work other shifts as needed to support customer schedule requirements including possible travel to other F-22 locations if requested to support mission requirements.
• Applicant must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer personnel at all levels.
• Must be able to obtain F-22 Special Program Access. Must have at an Active Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that will require special access.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• 6 years experience maintaining military avionics systems
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• 5 years experience maintaining F-22 or F-35 aircraft Avionics / Air Vehicle systems
• Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
• Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level
• Technical report writing skills
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
• Experience with using F-22 engineering tools to include but not limited to FIN, DIMS, BIGMAC, JEDI & 807 File processing software.
• Experience working in customer environment and within partnered field locations
• Strong relationship building skills, focused on establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Qualified Avionics 7-level on F-22
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
